Teena and Ryan enjoy staying active. They spend time at the beach during the spring and summer months and at the mountains during the fall and winter months. Since Ryan's parents own beach houses on East Beach in Charlestown, Rhode Island, Teena and Ryan enjoy spending weekends there to relax and have fun. They ride bikes, play volleyball, go surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, snorkeling and just enjoy laying out in the sun. Ryan just taught Teena how to snowboard last December. Ryan, along with his brother, Casey usually get a place up at Killington for the season to spend the fall and winter weekends there. Just this past New Year's, Ryan took Teena to Switzerland to go snowboarding for her Christmas present and they had a wonderful time. They stayed in Zermatt, a small ski village where there are no gas cars, only electric vehicles. They went snowboarding from Switzerland to Italy most days and on their days off, they went ice-skating and shopping for swiss-chocolate. Teena and Ryan love traveling together. They made their first travel together in June of 2000, when they went to Ryan's cousin Julie's Wedding in Chicago. Their next trip was to Cresco, Iowa in September of 2000 for the Mrachek Family Reunion, celebrating Ryan's grandfather Frank's 80th Birthday. Over Thanksgiving, they took a trip to Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, with a bunch of windsurfing friends from the beach. Here, Ryan picked up the sport, kitesurfing. Since their trip to Switzerland, Teena and Ryan have been to San Diego, California, for Ryan's cousin Kerri's wedding and also to West Palm Beach, Florida, for Teena's friend Adelle's wedding. They plan to continue traveling together for the rest of their lives, beginning with their honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii.
